After the demoralising loss on the opening day of the new Premiership, The Celts went out on saturday
night and seemingly 'drank away their sorrows'. The Celts were seen by many fans and the watching media at a party in
Mortdale. The Celts seemed to be enjoying themselves and only looking to have a good time, but by the end of the night
this had changed for the majority of the team members. Many of the players were ill disiplined and became quite sick
during and after the night, which resulted in two players not patricipating in training and three who were in no condition
to train properly.
Cicchetti has been put on a good behaviour bond after lashing out at a supporter, while Delaney
and Marks have been fined for indecent exposure.
Likidis, Street, Cicchetti, Delaney and Marks have all been given official warnings for unproffesional
behaviour, as they all were intoxicated to dangerous levels, while Delaney and Marks surrended to another penalty
for not turning up to training as they were bed striken for the majority of Sunday. They were fined a weeks wages. Johno was
very sour about the whole situation, "This behaviour is unacceptable and the players who stepped out of line have been punished
accordingly. All focus will now be to get these players in shape and push for a win this coming week. Special thanks goes
out to Williamson and Marco for acting in such a proffesional manner, when all around them failed to do so."
