With a new name and a new frame of mind the once Celtic Chokers are back,
raring to go under the new title of The Celts. With the disapointing loss in the final two years ago, harmony among the team
began to deteriorate and arguements among the squad broke loose. Due to these implications the club lost many supporters and
was soon on the decline. The club then found itself in financial crisis and was forced to bring in financial advisors and
cease playing for last year. Fortunately for the Chairman's Diarmuid Delaney and Aaron Cicchetti an investor, Johno, invested
money into the club and bought it out of financial crisis. The club is now able to function again, and renovations on Delaney Road
have since been completed.

The New Chairman, Happy With His Investment |
Changes for the Upcoming Season
Due to the disharmony which broke out throughout the squad two years ago, during the off season
critical changes had to be made by the chairman's Delaney and Cicchetti, and the new found investor Johno. Due to the funds
allocated into the rebuilding of Delaney Road choices had to be made about personnel. Mark Odjrlin was approached by Thrid
Division club Huddersfield, and the $15,000 offer was accepted. Sam Tropiano was released on a free as his contract was up
and there was no further intention to re-new his contract. He is currently a free agent. Daniel Markovski, due to his outrageous
wage demends and the clubs ambition to sign new players, he was released from his contract, he is currently trialing for a
Macedonian based club. Sean Delaney, the promising Irish midfielder, was put on a week to week contract to try to cement himself
a permanent contract. His contract was terminated when Sean could not convince the Chairmen and the Board Members of his worth
to the team.
Even with Johno's investment, funds where still not easy to come by, and veterens of the original
team, Cicchetti, Delaney, Street all agreed to pay cuts to accomodate for new signings arriving this season. The new signings
made for the forth coming season are; Tom Williamson from Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee, and Andrew Marks from Barnet
on a free, as his contract was expiring.
The Vibe being recieved from the new signings about camp life is positive, and
they are both keen to commit themselves fully to the clubs cause. Tom Williamson had this to say upon his arrival at The Celts;
"The initial feeling that I have here at The Celts is a great vibe of team unity. The team has a great deal of potential and I
wish to bring glory to this club. My new team members are delightful, even though there are a few foreigners, I'm
sure learning their language will not be a problem. I am estatic about playing with these players and I am sure we will gel
as a unit and have a very successful season." Andrew Marks had the same positive vibe towards his joining of the club; "I
am looking forward to playing with the lads here at Delaney Road. I am excited about getting to know them and spending many
glorious days with my new team members. The jump I have made from conference is quite significant and I see it as a challenge.
I am looking forward to playing with players of a much higher calibre and I am approaching the new season with a open heart
and mind. I am looking forward to being able to test my ability against quality opposition whilst doing it in the company
of such a world class squad." The two new boys are sure to do the club proud.
