The third game of the season and expectations were high. The Celts came out looking for a win this
week and things did not start too badly. This soon changed when Shoot Re started to gain more of a grip on the game, when
they broke free and scored to put The Celts behind by a goal.
The game itself continued and proved to be quite uneventful until the second quarter. Marco collected
the ball in goals and threw it quite hard at Street up field. Street cleverly dumbied and moved out of the way. This caught
the opposing keeper of guard and went into the back of the net. The Celts were revived and the match suddenly seemed as though
it may be in reach. From the resulting kickoff, a wicked deflection off Williamson sent Marco diving the wrong way and the
ball flying into the back of the net. A sigh of disappointment sounded around the centre and The Celts never managed to get
back into the match.
The match was after this closely contested with chances being hard to come by for both teams. The
match was rather scrappy and never delivered what was expected of it. The match ended 1-2 and The Celts wandered off the field
wondering what they have to do to notch up a win.
